Overview
The Quantum Materials and Thermodynamics (QMAT) group investigates the fundamental properties and emergent behaviors of quantum materials, with a focus on complex quantum systems. Our research integrates both experimental and theoretical approaches to explore the interplay of charge, spin, orbital, and lattice degrees of freedom in strongly correlated materials. By combining cutting-edge measurement techniques with analytical and computational modeling, we aim to uncover the principles that govern quantum materials under extreme conditions. In addition to fundamental science, our work embraces interdisciplinary research, bridging areas such as biomedical nanomaterials, sensors, and sustainable energy solutions.
